Day 1 :

Arrival transfer from cairo airport/Marriott Mena House Hotel /Magical sunset dinner by pyramids

Arrive in Cairo, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your historic hotel. It is ideally situated near the last remaining Ancient Wonder of the World — the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The Pyramids / Sphinx/ the Grand Egyptian museum GEM tour/flight to Luxor/ Old winter place luxor hotel

After breakfast, you will check out from Mena House hotel, you will tour the amazing Giza Plateau, the site of the pyramids of Mycerinus and Chephren as well as the Great Pyramid, built in the Fourth Dynasty (approximately 2690 BC). Revel in the opportunity to enter the interior of one of these legendary structures and marvel at the massive stones used to construct them. Afterward, enjoy time to view the Great Sphinx backdropped by the pyramids, a setting that has captured the imaginations of adventurers for centuries, then exploration of the New Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

Day 3 :

Karnak & Luxor Temples / Winter Place Hotel

Today, after you finish your breakfast, begin your full day of exploring the Temple of Karnak, where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, strolling among its expertly aligned columns, which soar 80 feet high.
Follow by visiting the striking Temple of Luxor. View the three large statues of Ramses II along the front of the temple pylons, the Courtyard of Ramses II, and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, with its 50-foot-high columns. Walk in their shadows, as visitors have done since antiquity, and ponder the astonishing feats of engineering it took to create them.

After you finish your breakfast, Journey to the west bank of the Nile river and the Necropolis of Thebes, and view the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to the architecturally stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, ancient Egypt’s first female pharaoh and regarded today as one of its most successful. Carry on to the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of the pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For 500 years beginning in the 16th century BC, tombs were built along this valley for pharaohs and nobles, including that of “the boy king,” Tutankhamun. Enter the tomb of Tutankhamun — found in 1922 by British archaeologist and Egyptologist Howard Carter — to discover the secrets of this storied chamber. Next, descend into the beautifully decorated tomb of Seti I, the father of Ramses II, one of the best-preserved tombs in the valley. Continue to the Valley of the Queens, enjoying access to Queen Nefertari’s tomb, famous for the colorful artwork that adorns its walls.

Day 5 :

Nobles tombs /Medinat Habu temple /Howard Carter house/ cruising the Nile

Today, after breakfast, we heading to see the fascinating journey through ancient Egyptian history. We will explore the tombs of the Nobles, the ancient burial sites of high-ranking officials and nobles. The tour includes visits to the tombs of Ramose, Userhet, Khaemhat, and Menna, showcasing intricate wall paintings and hieroglyphics.
Afterward, we will visit the well-preserved Habu Temple complex, which includes the main temple, smaller shrines, and courtyards. The tour provides insight into the religious beliefs and practices of the ancient Egyptians, with highlights including the impressive statues of pharaohs and gods, hieroglyphic inscriptions, and intricate carvings.

By noon, our tour will be finished, then we will head back to our cruise boat for lunch and enjoy the sailing on the Nile.

Day 6 :

Cruising the Nile /Temple of Horus & Kom Ombo

Today, view the Temple of Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. Built in 230 BC by Ptolemy III, this amazingly well-preserved and colorful structure reveals what temple worship in ancient Egypt was like.
Later this afternoon, enjoy a refreshing Scenic Sundowner as you cruise to Kom Ombo.
Disembark at Kom Ombo (hill of gold) to visit the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), whom some ancient Egyptians considered the creator of the world. View the mummified remains of several crocodiles that once basked along the ancient Nile shore, just as their descendants do today.

Day 7 :

Aswan /Majestic Philae

Today, after breakfast, we will visit Philae temple, an impressive temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. We see the temple’s well-preserved ruins, including the main sanctuary and several smaller chapels. The highlight is the beautifully carved reliefs depicting scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology.
Back to our Nile cruise boat for lunch and relaxing.
In the afternoon, it is time to take the felucca ride, which is an amazing experience. As you sail along the Nile River, you can take in the stunning views of the desert landscape and the surrounding islands. The gentle breeze, warm sun, and calm waters make for a relaxing and peaceful journey. Various birds and wildlife along the way. It’s a great way to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of Egypt.

Day 8 :

Abu Simbel temples /Aswan Legendry Old Cataract Hotel

Today, bid farewell to our luxury Nile cruise boat. Disembarking to drive to Abu Simbel and discover the commanding twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The former’s façade is dominated by four 70-foot-tall statues of the pharaoh. Perhaps even more impressive, this entire site was disassembled and moved to this location to save it from the floodwaters caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
Return to Aswan and check in at the legendary old Cataract Hotel, a grand, historic hotel. It was built in 1899 and has since hosted many famous guests, including Winston Churchill, Agatha Christie, and Princess Diana. The hotel features elegant colonial-style architecture, opulent interiors, and top-notch amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, and multiple dining options. Enjoy stunning views of the Nile River and the surrounding desert landscape from their rooms or the hotel’s terrace. Day 1 :

Cairo

Arrive Cairo airport, welcome greeting by our representative, who will assist you and provide transfers to your Hotel in Cairo.
Settle in for the night to relax and enjoy the views of Cairo at night.
Check-in time is at 13:00.

Day 2 :

Cairo/ Giza Pyramids/ Egyptian Museum of Antiquities

After breakfast, you will be joined by your own tour guide to a place called Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven miracles of the antiquated world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, alongside the well-known Sphinx and Valley Temple.
At that point, take off to the Egyptian Museum, where the fortunes of the kid ruler Tutankhamen await you.
In the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station for taking your sleeper train to Luxor (Domestic Flight + 1 Night of hotel accommodation are available upon request).

Day 3 :

Luxor/ East Bank of The Nile/ Karnak Temples/ Luxor Temples/ Nile Cruise Tours

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will then visit the world's largest temple complex, Karnak Temple, to see the Temple of Amun and the Temple of Luxor. See its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses II.
The tour then proceeds by bus to visit the Karnak Temple. This temple was built by various Pharaohs during different dynasties. Highlights are the Avenue of Sphinxes, Hypostyle Hall, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmosis, and the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs. See the Granite Scarabaeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake.
A mid-day check-in on board a Nile cruise ship and enjoy your lunch on board.

Day 4 :

Nile Cruise Tours/ West Bank of The Nile/ King's Valley/ Hatshepsut Temple/ Colossi of Memnon

You'll have an early breakfast on the ship.
At that point, take off to visit the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings.
After that move to the funeral home Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, this was worked by the planners of the New Kingdom amid the fifteenth century BC.
Travel on to the Colossi of Memnon.

After breakfast on board, you'll stop for a visit to the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved sanctuaries of the antiquated world. The structure is devoted to Horus, the god of falcon.
You'll, at that point, sail to Kom Ombo, where you'll experience the twin sanctuary of Kom Ombo, there, you'll find out about the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, whose landmarks embellish every 50% of the sanctuary.

Disembarkation from the cruise ship.
There is a great opportunity for an early morning optional tour to visit the Great Temples of Abu Simbel, where you'll experience the wonderful sanctuaries worked for Ramses II and his darling ruler, Nefertari. These sanctuaries close to the Sudanese outskirt are notable for their magnificence, yet exceptional for their cutting-edge history also - they were migrated in 1968 to stay away from submersion by the enormous Lake Nasser.
After spending time looking at the sanctuaries, in the afternoon you'll come back to Aswan for taking a train or a/c bus to Luxor (4 hour duration ).
Upon arrival to Luxor you'll be transfered to your hotel in Luxor to check in and overnight.

Day 08 :

Luxor/ Hurghada/ Red Sea Tours

After Breakfast at the hotel, check out and get set to travel towards Hurghada on the Red Sea.
From Luxor to Hurghada is around 4 a half hours' drive.
Spend the night in Hurghada. ( Private transfer from Luxor hotel to Hurghada resort passing Vai dandra and visiting the beautiful temple of the goddess Hathor, the goddess of music & motherhood in ancient Egypt, is available upon request)

Day 09 :

Scuba Diving/ Snorekling Hurghada Vacation/ Red Sea Beaches

You may decide to join our optional tour to see some amazing and unique rare fish and get the exquisite snorkeling or scuba diving experience within the Red Sea coral reefs.
You can also choose any other activities such as deep-sea fishing, windsurfing or sailing.
Spend the night in Hurghada.

Day 10 :

Desert Safari Adventure/ Hurghada Vacation/ Red Sea Beaches

On this day, you may decide to join our optional tour to see the spectacular Hurghada Desert Safari Adventure at sunset is the perfect solution.
Relax and enjoy a mix of activities, including camel rides, quad runner experience, and barbque dinner under the stars with the Bedouins people.

Day 11 :

Hurghada Vacation/ Red Sea Beaches/ Cairo

Breakfast at your hotel/resort in Hurghada with available time at relaxation and after that, you will be transported to Cairo.
Upon landing in Cairo, you will be met and helped.
After that transported to your hotel/resort with the expectation of complimentary time at recreation and spend the night remaining in Cairo.

How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will too, you can.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

What about internet access?

Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.
