You’ll arrive at Cairo International Airport where your tour representative meets you. From there, a private transfer takes you to your hotel in Cairo. Once you check in, you can relax and freshen up after your flight.

After breakfast, you’ll take a domestic flight down to Aswan. Your guide meets you at the airport, and then you’ll head to your luxury Nubian house to check in. Lunch features traditional Nubian food, followed by a walk through a colorful Nubian village where you can learn about local customs and daily life. If you’re interested, there’s an optional Philae Sound and Light Show in the evening.

The morning starts at Philae Temple. After lunch, you’ll check into a 5-star Nile cruise boat and have lunch on board. Later in the afternoon, you’ll take a felucca ride on the Nile to relax and take in the river landscape. By evening, you can walk through vibrant Nubian markets to see local crafts and culture before heading back to the boat for dinner.

There’s an optional early morning trip to Abu Simbel to see the colossal statues of Ramses II carved into the temple. You’ll return for lunch on board the cruise. From Aswan, the boat sails toward Kom Ombo Temple, which was built for two gods: Sobek the crocodile and Horus the falcon. After exploring the temple, you’ll have dinner on board and stay overnight on the cruise.

Breakfast comes first, then a tour of the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temple sites. The cruise continues toward Luxor through Esna with lunch served on board. You’ll relax as the boat travels, and when you arrive in Luxor, you’ll visit Luxor Temple after sunset. There’s an optional horse carriage tour around old and new Luxor if you want to see more, along with local drinks. The evening includes dinner and a belly dance show on the cruise.

An optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise offers incredible views over the Thebes West bank. After breakfast and checking out from the cruise, you’ll tour the Kings Valley where Egyptian pharaohs were buried, then visit Hatshepsut Temple with its unique terraced design. In the afternoon, you’ll explore Karnak Temple complex, dedicated to various Theban gods. By evening, you board an overnight sleeping train to Cairo with dinner served while you travel.

The train arrives at Cairo railway station, and breakfast is served on board. You’ll spend the morning at the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, taking photographs and learning about these ancient structures. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, then the afternoon is spent at the new Grand Egyptian Museum, which displays artifacts and treasures from ancient Egypt. You’ll check into your Cairo hotel for the night.
