After breakfast, your guide takes you out to Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the Sphinx and Valley Temple. You’ll spend the afternoon at the Egyptian Museum checking out Tutankhamen’s treasures. By evening, you head to the railway station for your overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

Once you arrive in Luxor, you’ll go to Karnak Temple complex to see the Temple of Amun with its Avenue of Sphinxes, Hypostyle Hall, and obelisks. Next comes Luxor Temple with its granite statues of Ramses II. By midday you board your Nile cruise ship, grab lunch on board, and settle in for the evening.

You’ll have an early breakfast on the ship, then head to Valley of the Kings to explore the Royal Cemetery of 62 Pharaohs. After that, you visit Queen Hatshepsut’s funeral temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Following lunch, the ship sails toward Edfu where you’ll have dinner on board.

Breakfast on board starts your day, then you visit the Temple of Edfu dedicated to Horus. From there, sail to Kom Ombo to see the twin sanctuary dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Horus. You’ll have lunch back on the ship as it continues sailing to Aswan, with dinner and overnight on board.

Start with breakfast on the cruise ship, then explore Aswan beginning with the High Dam. Next you visit Agilka Island and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner happens on board where you spend the night.

You disembark from the cruise ship and can join an optional early morning tour to the Great Temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II and his queen Nefertari near the Sudanese border (they were relocated in 1968 to avoid Lake Nasser flooding). After exploring the temples, you return to Aswan in the afternoon, then take a train or air-conditioned bus to Luxor, which takes about 4 hours. Check in at your hotel in Luxor for the night.

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll head out on a roughly 4.5-hour drive from Luxor to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast. A private transfer can be arranged if you’d like, and there’s an option to stop by the Temple of Hathor in Dendara along the way. Once you arrive, you’ll check into your all-inclusive Hurghada resort for the night.

This day is yours to unwind at the resort and take in the Red Sea beaches. Water activities are on offer if you’re interested, so you can try snorkeling, scuba diving around the coral reefs, deep-sea fishing, windsurfing, or sailing. You’ll stay another night at your Hurghada resort.
